In order to fit in with the continuous development of sports industry and market in Shanghai, the article, on the basis of clearing the definition of sports industry, analyzes the statistic principle of the study on the statistics indices system of Shanghai sports industry, the scope and object of statistics, detailed indices system, basic method of statistics, the source of statistics indices, etc.
