通过对新疆少数民族传统体育运动会发展现状的调查，主要对其经济效益进行分析，探讨民运会将社会效益放在首位的同时，其经济效益上升的空间。对民运会产生的经济效益进行了分类，并从大型活动的影响力、少数民族体育产品的特殊性、体育消费需求的增长、积极的技术支持四方面进行了分析，认为正确把握和应用这些因素，是积极探索市场机制在少数民族传统体育发展中的道路，吸引更多社会力量关心和支持新疆民运会发展的关键。

英文摘要:

Through the investigation on the status quo of Xinjiang Minority Traditional Sports Games, the paper analyzes the economic benefits of the Games. There is a space for the rising of economic benefits though the social benefits are of the first importance. The paper classifies the economic benefits of the Games and makes an analysis on the four aspects: major event influence, specificity of minority traditional sports products, increase of sport consuming demand and active technical support. The paper concludes that the correct application of those elements is the key point in exploring ways for marketing mechanism in the development of minority traditional sports and attracting more attention and support from the society for the development of Xinjiang Minority Traditional Sports Games.
