墨尔本是全球著名体育城市，体育发展经验丰富。主要运用文献资料法和实地考察法，探讨分析墨尔本体育赛事、基础设施等方面的发展情况。研究发现：墨尔本通过顶层设计引领体育发展方向，大型体育赛事确保“体育城市”地位，体育基础设施推动“宜居城市”建设，体育科技创新激发产业发展活力。文章结合上海市自身特点给出几点建议。

英文摘要:

Melbourne is a world famous sports city with rich experience in sports development. This paper mainly discusses and analyzes the development of sports events and infrastructure in Melbourne by using the method of literature review and field study. The research shows that Melbourne leads the world sports development through top-level design, secures its status of "sports city" by hosting major sports events, promotes the construction of "livable cities" by improving the sports infrastructure, and vitalizes industrial development through sports technology innovation. Consequently, some suggestions are given based on the characteristics of Shanghai.
