| Experience in the Western developed countries tells us that sport events have become a catalyst for urban redevelopment and construction. They are the important opportunities for integration of urban functions and planning and layout adjustment. They provide internal power for the sustainable development of social culture and economy. In China, as the urbanization is quickening its steps, sport events are favored by many cities and have become important factors of the city image and city aspiration. |
