| The 6th National Athletic Meeting could be counted as the most successful one of the seven National Athletic Meetings held before the founding of People's Republic of China. Many media across the country set up special columns to cover the game, including North China Daily News, the most influential foreign newspaper in Shanghai. Based on the news reports of 6th National Athletic Meeting in North China Daily News, the paper tries to explore how the British reported and recorded the game. |
